Acorn International is pleased to announce the appointment of Atma Khalsa, Andrew Buchman and Paula Uscategui to the position of Senior Consultant. This appointment is a recognition of each of their exceptional level of talent, service delivery and contribution to the strengthening of Acorn International as a leading global social and environmental risk management consultancy.
Atma joined Acorn International in 2007 and leads our environmental assessment practice as well as contributing to our social performance services. Currently Atma is leading the environmental and social impact and management planning activities needed to secure IFC-financing for a coastal regasification facility development in Asia.
Andrew joined Acorn International in 2010, after seven years in the field designing and implementing social performance programs in support of major international oil and gas projects. He leads much of our social NTR services, providing particular expertise on community engagement programs, CSR program and grievance mechanism development, and social baseline/impact assessment.
Paula joined Acorn International in 2014 and is leading the execution and further development of Acorn International Sucursal Colombia’s business. Her role includes leading a multi-year engagement to plan, socialize and implement community investment programs in support of oil and gas exploration activities in Colombia.
