Inundation

Our thoughts are with the people in Texas, Louisiana, Mexico and elsewhere who are trying to rebuild their lives or learning to cope with the loss of someone near and dear to them. Seeing such a calamity unfold close to home reminds us of what it means to be a neighbor, including the willingness, energy and resolve to step in when people around us need help. Certainly this is something we should all keep in mind as we continue to collaborate on oil and gas projects around the world. No matter where we work, our success depends on ensuring that the fabric of our ‘host communities’ remains strong; that ‘local’ is improved by our being an active partner in the places we work.

- The Acorn International Team

Acorn International LLC delivers social and environmental risk management consulting services to the extractive industries and investors worldwide. We work with local partners in over 80 countries worldwide. Use of these local specialists is paramount, particularly in developing countries, where information is often scarce, second-hand, and unreliable. We look forward to engaging in continuous improvement for the industry and building capacity with our partners.
